Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries (packed with antioxidants)
  • 10-12 fresh mint leaves (promotes digestion and relaxation)
  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger (supports digestive health)
  • 1-2  tbsp agave (natural sweetener with a low glycemic index)
  • 1 fresh lime (adds a burst of citrus)
  • 1/2 coconut water (hydrates and replenishes electrolytes)
  • 1/2 cup poppi prebiotic soda (optional)
  • crushed ice (for a chilled drink)
  • Mint sprigs, lime and extra blueberries (garnish)

Instructions

  • Muddle the Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker or large glass, add the blueberries, mint leaves, and sliced ginger. Muddle (or crush) these ingredients together with a muddler or the back of a spoon. This will release all the delicious flavors, especially the mint oils and blueberry juices.
  • Add Lime & Agave: Squeeze the juice of one lime into the glass, followed by the agave syrup. Agave is a great natural sweetener that provides a subtle sweetness without spiking blood sugar levels. Stir to combine.
  • Pour in Coconut Water: Add the coconut water, which is rich in electrolytes and will help hydrate you while adding a slight sweetness to balance the tartness of the lime.
  • Shake or Stir: If you're using a cocktail shaker, add some ice and shake the mixture vigorously for about 10-15 seconds. If you’re working in a glass, stir everything well to combine and chill.
  • Top Off with Poppi Prebiotic Drink: Strain the mixture into a glass filled with crushed ice. Pour in the Poppi Prebiotic Drink to top off the cocktail. This will add a refreshing, fizzy element while boosting the drink with gut-friendly prebiotics.
  • Garnish and Serve: Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a few extra blueberries for an added touch of color and flavor. For extra fizz, you can also add a splash of sparkling water.
