Homemade Vitamin C Juice Recipe

Equipment

  • 1 Juicer or blender (I used the Kuvings Auto 10)

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 grapefruit (peeled)
  • 2 oranges (peeled)
  • 1 inch piece of Fresh Ginger (you can adjust the amount based on how spicy you like it!)
  • 2 key limes (or regular limes if you can't find key limes)

Instructions
 

  • Prep the Ingredients:
    Peel the grapefruit and oranges. Peel the key limes  to make them juicer-friendly.
  • Juicing Time:
    Start with the citrus fruits. Feed the peeled grapefruitoranges, and key limes into your juicer.Next, add the fresh ginger piece. You can either slice it up a little more for easier juicing or just drop the whole chunk in.
  • Serve & Enjoy:
    Pour the juice into a glass and give it a quick stir. The fresh flavors will combine beautifully.Optional: Add a few ice cubes for an extra refreshing touch.
  • Optional Extras:
    For a touch of sweetness, try adding a small spoonful of honey, agave syrup, or maple syrup to balance the tartness.If you’re feeling adventurous, throw in a pinch of turmeric for an extra antioxidant boost or a couple of fresh mint leaves for a cool aftertaste.
  • Clean Up:
    After juicing, be sure to clean your juicer right away—this helps avoid any sticky residue, especially with the citrus pulp.
