Lychee Mocktini Recipe🍸
Looking for a refreshing, Valentine's Day-inspired mocktail to brighten up your day? This Lychee Mocktini brings together the exotic sweetness of fresh lychee, the tartness of lime, the subtle kick of coconut water, and the calming effects of kava—perfect for those who want to unwind without the alcohol. Plus, it's simple to make with just a few ingredients!
Prep Time 15 minutes mins
- 4-5 fresh lychee peeled and pitted
- 1 fresh lime juice
- 1-2 tbsp teaspoons agave syrup (adjust to taste)
- 6–8 fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 tbsp kava extract (optional, for relaxation)
- Ice cubes
- Mint sprig, for garnish
- Lychee or lime slice, for garnish
Prepare the Lychees: Start by peeling and pitting the fresh lychees. You should end up with about 4–5 juicy lychees. Place them in a small bowl.
Muddle the Lychees and Mint: Add the fresh mint leaves to the bowl with the lychees. Use a muddler (or the back of a spoon) to gently mash the lychees and mint together. You’re not trying to turn it into a puree, just releasing the juices and flavors of the fruit and herbs.
dd Lime and Agave: Squeeze in the juice of one lime for that zesty tang, and add the agave syrup for sweetness. Agave is a great natural sweetener that dissolves easily, making it perfect for this mocktail.
Incorporate Coconut Water: Pour in the coconut water for that hydrating and slightly nutty base flavor. If you’re adding kava for its relaxing properties, this is the moment to add it in as well. Stir everything together to combine the flavors.
Fill the Glass: Fill a martini glass (or any glass you prefer) with ice cubes. Strain the lychee mixture into the glass, making sure to discard any pulp or solid bits that didn't get fully mashed.
Garnish and Serve: Garnish with a sprig of mint and a thin slice of lychee or lime on the rim of the glass for a beautiful, fresh finish.
