These ingredients are packed with vitamins, minerals, and anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe cramps, balance hormones, and boost your energy levels.
Hereā€™s a simple, nutrient-dense juice recipe that may help you feel better, naturally:
Prep Time 30 minutes
Servings 1 person

Equipment

  • Kuvings Slow juicer B6000

Ingredients

  • 2 green apples (preferably green)
  • 2 handful of kale
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 beetroot
  • 1 inch ginger (or more for extra zing)
  • 1 fresh lemon

Instructions

  • Prepare Your Ingredients:
Wash the apples, kale, carrots, and beetroot thoroughly. Peel the beetroot and carrots, if desired. You can leave the skin on the apples if theyā€™re organic, as the skin contains a lot of nutrients.Slice the apples into quarters, cut the carrots into smaller pieces, and roughly chop the kale and beetroot.Grate or slice the ginger to help it blend more easily.
  • Juicing:
If you're using a juicer, feed the ingredients through one at a time, starting with the softer fruits and finishing with the harder vegetables and ginger. If you're using a blender, add the ingredients with the water (or coconut water) and blend until smooth. You can then strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth if you prefer a thinner consistency.
  • Serve:
Pour the juice into a glass, and if you like, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice to enhance the flavor and boost detox benefits.
  • Enjoy:
Stir and enjoy your refreshing juice immediately! You can also chill it in the fridge for a cool, energizing drink later.
