Servings 2 people

Equipment

  • Juicer ( I used the Kevin's whole slow juice B6000

Ingredients

  • 2 green apples (preferably green apples for a tart flavor)
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 piece of fresh ginger (or more to taste)
  • juice of half a lemon (optional, but adds a refreshing zing!)

Instructions

  • Prep the ingredients:
Core the apples and cut them into quarters. No need to peel them—leaving the skin on retains more of the nutrients and fiber.Slice the cucumber and celery into manageable pieces for your juicer.Peel the ginger and cut it into smaller chunks. (If you're using a blender, you can grate the ginger to make it easier to blend.)If you're adding lemon, cut it in half and squeeze the juice out.
  • Juice the ingredients:
If you're using a juicer, start by juicing the apples first to extract the sweetness, then follow with cucumber, celery, and ginger. Add the lemon juice at the end.If you're using a blender, toss all the ingredients into the blender with a splash of water to help it blend smoothly. Once everything is blended, strain the juice using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove the pulp. You can skip this step if you prefer a thicker juice.
  • Serve: Pour your freshly made juice into a glass and enjoy immediately! For an extra refreshing touch, serve it over ice or garnish with a cucumber slice.
  • Tips & Variations:
For a sweeter juice, add an extra apple or a handful of spinach.Add a few mint leaves for a cool, refreshing twist. If you prefer a bit of tang, you can increase the lemon juice or even add a splash of apple cider vinegar.
